Sculptra™ is a synthetic material known as poly-L-lactic acid and is biocompatible. Scultra™ is injected below the surface of the skin in the area of fat loss. Scultra™ creates a gradual increase in skin thickness. Visible results are noticeable within the first few treatment sessions. Sculptra™ can have good results for 1 to 2 years.
